Adding Text to a Blinkie

So, you browse sites and can't find your name on any blinkies. You wish you could make your own, but don't got a single clue. How do people do this?? Well, follow this simple tutorial to find out!

1. First, find a blinkie template and save it. Go to Blinkie Bee. They have ALOT of templates to choose from. For this tutorial, I'm going to make this:

2. When you have chosen your favourite template, open up Jasc Animation Shop and Jasc Paint Shop Pro. Open up your template in Animation Shop. When you have, there should be seperate frames. This template has eight, lol.

3. Click on the first frame, and right click and copy, or just press ctrl+c. When you have, go to Paint Shop Pro. Right Click on the clipboard and Paste As New Image. Zoom Closely to the blinkie so its easier. It should look like this:

4. Click on the Text Tool (in the menu its a letter A lol) and click onto the image. A pop up appears, so type your first letter. For this tutorial, I am typing my name, Tracy lol. So first I type T. I will make the text white, font redensek, size 10. its best if you use this font lol. Drag the Letter to the first box. It looks like this:

5. Continue Doing this to other letters.

6.What to do next? Go back to Animation shop, and copy and paste all the other frames onto Paint Shop, like this (just so that everything is there): Make sure you align them so its easier to remember what goes after what.

7. Dont' worry, you're almost there! Make sure you are still on the first frame. Use the Selection Tool and start making a square around the text, like mine:

8. When you have done it, go to Edit>>Copy. Click on the Second Frame, and zoom in just to make it easier. Then, go to Edit>>Paste>>Paste as a New Selection (or do ctrl+e). Neatly place it onto the second frame template. Do this to every single frame.

9. When you did this to every frame, click on the first frame. Go to Selections>>Select All. Then go to Edit>>Copy Merged. Go back to Animation Shop, and right click and paste as a new animation. Go back to Paint Shop and do the same method to all the other frames, but don't paste it as a new animation. Right click the first frame and click Paste after current frame. It should kind of look like this:

Continue and keep doing this until your finished. Then, save your blinkie. Congratulations!! You have just made yourself a blinkie!
