Want some practice with a simple tutorial on drawing things on Adobe? This tutorial is just for you!
Please remember to Credit Us if this helps you.
Step One
Open up a new document, any size you want. Ours will be 400x400.
Once it's opened, click on the Elliptical Marquee Tool. (Can't find it? It's the first button on the toolbar, just click and hold it, a menu should appear and click on the circle tool.)

Step Two
Go to the document, and create a new layer. (Shift+Ctrl+N) or (Layer>>New>>Layer)
Click on a spot on the document, and don't let go, drag it across to adjust the size. When your happy with a particular size, let go. There should now be a empty circle with marching ants around it.

Step Three
Click on the Paint Bucket Tool. Select any color you wish... we are choosing yellow. Fill the inside of the circle with the color.
Go to Select >> Deselect. So far, you should have something like this:

Step Four
Once again, click on your Elliptical Marquee Tool. Draw eyes for the happy face by press and holding the tool and dragging it to adjust the size, and let go when you are satisfied.
Choose a new color, any color you wish... we are choosing a dark grey. Use the Paint Bucket Tool and fill in the eye of the happy face.
DO NOT DESELECT yet.

Step Five
Click inside the selection (the eye) with your Marquee Tool and drag it across the face for a new eye. Once again, use the Paint Bucket Tool and fill in the second eye. Go to Select >> Deselect.

Step Six
Click on the Custom Shape Tool.

From the bar above, there should be something where you can select a shape. Click on it, and choose the shape that is a Circle. (When you hover, it should say Circle Thin Frame)
Go to your document, click and drag the shape to adjust the shape for the mouth.

Step Seven
Your not done yet! ;) Click on the Convert Point Tool, and right click inside the shape.

A mini menu will pop up, and click on Make Selection.
Make sure your settings are the same as below:

Click Okay when it is applied. Again, the shape should have marching ants around it.
Step Eight
Use the Paint Bucket Tool, and fill in the selection. Go to Select >> Deselect. Then, click on the Rectangular Marquee Tool. (Can't find it? It's the first button of the toolbar, just click and hold down and choose it.)
Click and drag it to form a rectangle, so it can cut the happy face's circle mouth in half. It should look something like this:

Step Nine
Delete the selection, and it should be just white. Select the Paint Bucket Tool and choose a color... use the eyedropper to select the same color of the Happy face itself. Fill it in with the color. Go to Select >> Deselect. Here's the final result:
