Introduction

When you are visiting a site, there are things you can do and things you shouldn't do but can by mistake. Your mistakes might make the webowners annoyed. This guide will teach you the things you shouldn't be doing!

Things you shouldn't do

1. Never beg a webowner to visit your site! Sure, you might ask them to come and drop by nicely, but most likely not all webowners like that! They might return comments if you don't ask them yourself so no need to ask.
2. Don't just say "hi nice site!" Make your comment more unique, because sometimes comments like that can be pretty boring. If you make your comment very good and meaningful, they will most likely visit back! Explain what you like about the site, and what amazes you.
Tip: Look through the site first before tagging/commenting. You might get an idea of what kinds of things are on the site that catches your eye!
3. Do not ask them a million questions... they may answer a few but you shouldn't pile them with your queries. If they take long to reply, you cannot beg them or tell them to hurry up, that is just disrespectful. They have their own lives so you should be patient, they are bound to get back at you.
4. Don't ask them to help you make a site. Some webowners may help, but some get really annoyed! You should first try and make one, learn some basic HTML. It is really hard to teach HTML to newbies. A better idea is to look up tutorials. We recommened Lissa explains.
5. Dont ask them to make a layout for you. If you really want one, get some for free if only they offer. Or you should download programs like Adobe Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro. Read tutorials and learn to make your own layouts!
6. This doesn't happen often, but if it does, don't beg the webowners to "hurry and make a new update!" They may be busy with work and such, so be patient, and wait for their next update. It's their choice when to update, not yours.
