Blending Images

Want to learn how to blend images together? Here is the right tutorial for you =]

Step One:

Open up your images. We've decided to use two pictures of Jamie Lynn Spears.

Then, open a new document. We will use a 315x200 px blank document for this tutorial, you can use whatever px you want for your blend.

Step Two

Choose one of the pictures, and use the Rectangular Marquee Tool, and start selecting a part of the image you want, like below:

Then, go to Edit>>Copy Merged (or Copy, if Copy Merged is not an option). Hold onto the Marquee, and drag it to the blank document, like below:

Once it has been dragged to the blank document, go to Edit>>Paste. The image should now be on the document like below:

Now, do the same steps to the second image, and it should appear like something below:

Step Three

As you can see... the second image has Overlapped the first image. So, use the Eraser Tool and start erasing the parts covering the first image that you dont' want covered (such as Jamie's face).
Tip: You should probably use the Soft Round Brush to erase when it comes to blends.

There you have it! Two blended pictures into one =D It sort of looks like the Jamie's are sitting beside each other, right?

If you want to take it to the next level, start designing the blend with brushes, textures, etc!
